KARPAS REALTY SELLS.
Houston real estate giant, Martha Turner Properties, has acquired Karpas Properties, former Karpas real estate agent Danny Pleason told OutSmart . The deal will give Martha Turner Properties more exposure in southwest Houston, particularly the high-end market Meyerland and Bellaire, where Karpas had done much of its business. Martha Turner Properties closed more than $1 billion in 2007 properties sales; Karpas closed $200 million, according to the Houston Chronicle.
