Michele Bachman Is a Better Person than You Are

If You Don’t Believe Me, Just Ask Michele Bachman. There are some people who say that Michele Bachmann is not qualified to be president. Then there are other people … who live in Ecuador.

Dots and decapitation. Formerly the site of (what else?) a mattress factory, the Mattress Factory is one of Pittsburgh’s most popular contemporary art museums for the city’s avant-garde scene. Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Dots Mirrored Room (1996) is one of MF’s permanent exhibitions, guarded here by random headless statuary.

I thank you for your avalanche of well-wishes from the bottom of my heart as well as from various other, now far more easily accessible, organs.

What a busy time this spring has been! So many of the planets are bunched together, making everything more intense with no allowances for compromise. We should see some of this hard-headedness lighten up after May 11, but look for some of the intensity to resurface near the end of June.
