ComiAre you a fan of comics, graphic novels, and pop culture? Then this biennial symposium at the University of Houston-Clear Lake is right up your alley. The event kicks off Friday night with a TBA film screening before launching into a full day Saturday of panels, exhibits, performances, and workshops. Events are free, but tickets are limited, so you want to sign up online soon. Special guests include illustrator Cinzia Angelini of Spirit, Spider-Man 2, Open Season, Bolt, and Minions fame and Matt Mogk, known to zombie fans as author of Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Zombies, founder of the Zombie Research Society (ZRS), and a frequent guest on The Talking Dead.
