Since Houston’s first Pride parade in 1978, our LGBT community’s event has grown into the largest and most lavish Pride Week in the Southwest. We’ve got a fabulous nighttime parade, a free festival, fashion shows, and much, much more. So fly your rainbow flag and party on, for the cause of diversity.

Pride Superstar Round 4

HATCH Youth Prom
Free for youth 13 to 20, HATCH celebrates LGBT awareness and the upcoming Pride Week at Numbers Night Club. The event kicks off at 7 p.m. hatchyouth.org

Stripper Circus
Hot male dancers every Friday at South Beach, with no cover during June. Doors open at 9 p.m. southbeachthenightclub.com
Phoenix Youth Program
The first program for LGBTQ youth of color in Houston launches at the Montrose Center. hatchyouth.org

South Texas Bear Weekend
The Bear and Leather Corps of Corpus Christi and the Renegade Bears of San Antonio have teamed up this year as hosts. bearandleathercc.com
June 4
LHI’s Health Fair
The Lesbian Health Initiative will provide a limited number of no-cost health services to lesbian women and transgender men, as well as distribute information about accessing ACA healthcare insurance. The event runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Houston Area Community Services (HACS). lhihouston.org
Pride Volunteer Orientation
If you’re volunteering for the festival and parade, get up early and get on down to The Montrose Center for orientation. Starts at 9 a.m. montrosecenter.org
Gender Identity Family Gathering
Families with transgender, gender-diverse, and questioning children and adolescents are welcome to attend. There will be discussion-based support groups for parents and young people as well as playtime for the little ones. The event runs 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Montrose Center. genderinfinity.org
Beaumont Pride Coming Out Ball
A celebratory run-up to Beaumont’s Pride parade. The event kicks off at 7 p.m. at MCM Eleganté Beaumont. beaumont-pride.org

HIV Long-Term Survivor’s Awareness Day

Turn the World Around

Rainbow on the Green

Pre-Pride Alumni Mixer
Show your school spirit at the happy hour/mixer at JR’s Houston hosted by Aggie Pride LGBTQA Former Student Network, Texas Exes LGBT Alumni Network, UH LGBTQ Alumni Association, Rice LGBTQ Alumni, and Lambda NextGen Houston. The event kicks off at 6 p.m.

Rock the Runway

Pride Shabbat Dinner
Keshet Houston and community partners will host Houston’s second annual LGBT Pride Shabbat Dinner. The event begins with Friday evening services at 6 p.m. at Congregation Beth Yeshurun, followed by a festive kosher dinner. keshethouston.org
Between Two Worlds: A Hymn for Black Gay Men on Race, Religion, and Rites of Passage
Dance theater installation/performance created by Harrison Guy about the lives, experiences, and memories of black gay men, crisscrossing generations, nationalities, expressions, identities, and beliefs. Houston Pride Festival and Parade
This is the big event! Join us downtown for the daylong festival and the exciting nighttime parade. It’s all free and open to the public—about 600,000 of them. The festival starts at noon and the parade kicks off at 8:30 p.m. V.I.P. tickets are also available. pridehouston.org
Official After Party
When the parade’s over, head on over to South Beach for the official after party. Be 18 or over, drink responsibly, and don’t forget to have fun. The event starts at 11 p.m. pridehouston.org
The Rocky Horror Pride Show
A performance like none other, the beloved Rocky Horror Picture Show hits the stage at the Premiere Cinema Theatre in Webster, TX. Specially-themed for celebrating Pride and diversity, this torrid affair will astonish and arouse. The tickets will sell at 11:45 p.m., and the preshow will begin at midnight.

Hot-Tea Dance
