Saturday, August 3:
Hundreds gathered on 19th Street for the annual White Linen Night in the Heights celebration. The French Quarter-themed white party started at the suggestion of New Orleans natives and Hurricane Katrina transplants Chris Thayer and his wife, Jay, who opened a boutique in the Heights after being displaced by the storm.
