Viet Cultural Fest 2024 Presented by Vietnamese Cultural & Science Center Association

After a four-year hiatus, the Vietnamese Culture and Science Association proudly celebrated the return of Viet Cultural Fest on September 14, 2023 at NRG Center. The highly anticipated event was founded in 2018 by three young Vietnamese Americans, brought thousands of attendees together to immerse in the vibrant traditions of Vietnam. What began in 2019 with a gathering of 6,000 has now grown into a significant cultural celebration, showcasing Houston’s Vietnamese community and beyond.

This year, the festival centered around the theme “Dragon and Fairy,” inspired by the legendary story of Lac Long Quan and Au Co. Attendees were treated to cultural exhibitions representing Vietnam’s North, Central, and South regions. The festival featured captivating displays, authentic cuisine, food competitions, traditional games, and interactive activities.
