An Unforgettable New Year’s Experience with Roka Akor

Roka Akor represents the pinnacle of Japanese cuisine in Houston. The legendary steakhouse, seafood, and sushi restaurant – featuring the largest wagyu beef program in the city with four Japanese varieties of wagyu, including the illustrious Kobe, and one domestic variety – will celebrate the end of 2018 and beginning of 2019 with an unforgettable dining experience. A special tasting menu of five courses will be available for $135 per person with a two-person minimum; the full a la carte menu will also remain available. Beginning with foie gras mousse, yellowtail sashimi and prime beef tataki, lucky patrons will then move on to Roka Akor’s signature wagyu kimchi dumplings and famous grilled pork belly with pickled radish and tarragon miso. A decadent sashimi platter, Alaskan King Crab in chili lime butter, and grilled corn in soy garlic butter follow before the highlights of the evening: grilled Maine lobster in yuzu kosho butter and Japanese Miyazaki A4 Wagyu.
