Da Camera of Houston presents Mingus Big Band, a 14-piece band that celebrates the music and legacy of legendary composer and bassist Charles Mingus (1922–1979). In Houston, the Grammy Award-winning ensemble performs with Houston natives Helen Sung, pianist and composer, and trombonist Frank Lacy.
