The first installment of Houston Arts Pioneers, a new series honoring the legacies of groundbreaking local artists, this evening will celebrate Pauline Oliveros with an interactive performance of Oliveros’ compositions and sonic meditations by local and visiting musicians.

Studio Enertia, under the direction of interdisciplinary artist and Deep Listening**®**practitioner Lisa E. Harris, will present performances of Oliveros’ works on the park’s Grace Event Lawn and inside Margo Sawyer’s Synchronicity of Color (Blue). This will be the park’s first concert inside of Sawyer’s public art piece.
