Join us for our annual park-wide celebration to kick-off the winter season! Frostival is a one-night extravaganza that marks the opening of the ICE, our 7,716 sq. ft. skating rink, all our wonderful winter programs and events, and the debut of new public art installation that help make the season in Houston so special.

Here are just some of the spectacles we are looking forward to:

• Long-time friends of the park and ice masters extraordinaire Reverend Butter and DLG Ice Factory will be carving fantastic frozen sculptures. The mini-blizzards that surround these artists when chainsaws hit ice make it seem like it’s snowing in Texas!

• This year’s festival attendees can groove to the bluesy, funky, soulful sound of the Peterson Brothers Band, who will be performing live!

• Start your festivities early by joining us on the Ice rink, which will open at 11am the morning of Frostival (weather permitting).
