The Houston Symphony continues the PNC Family Series with “I’m a Superhero!” live at Jones Hall on Saturday, April 6. The Symphony welcomes families to attend dressed as their favorite heroes, while composer Gonzalo Farias conducts cherished tracks from renowned films, such as John Williams’s “Summon the Heroes,” “Superman March,” Rey’s theme from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, “The Flight to Neverland” from Steven Spielberg’s Hook, as well as music from Batman, The Avengers, and The Incredibles. Additionally, the Symphony will perform Valerie Coleman’s “Seven O’Clock Shout” in a heartfelt homage to the courageous frontline workers who tirelessly sustained and shielded the world during the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic.
