The Haunting of Bella de Ghosse: Interactive dinner theatre

Old West Melodrama will be taking its audiences to southern Louisiana in 1890 for its next production.
The show, “The Haunting of Bella de Ghosse,” an original play by Spring’s own Jennifer Adams and her late father Joe Cole,opens on Friday, Aug. 3 and performances continue Friday and Saturday evenings through Saturday, Aug.18.
The play will be held at Puffabelly’s Depot Restaurant, 100 Main St. in Spring, with dinner and a pre-show starting at 7 p.m. Purchasing dinner is required to attend the show. The melodrama begins at 8 p.m.
The dinner theatre is an interactive experience – and audience participation is encouraged.
In fact, anyone dressed as a pirate for the occasion will be entered in a contest for a grand prize.

Old West Melodrama, stationed at 100 Main Street in Old Town Spring, is the only performing group in the greater Houston area that offers melodramas and murder mystery dinner shows year round.
