Deer Lake Lodge, a local resort and health spa, will host a class with Mark “Merriwether” Vorderbruggen, an expert in wild edible plants, on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at 9 a.m.

The class will be in conjunction with Deer Lake Lodge’s regular health and cleansing program. Guests will have the opportunity to spend four hours exploring Deer Lake Lodge’s 50-acre oasis and learn about Texas’ edible wild plants and the basics of foraging, with Merriwether as their guide.
