School is out but learning and fun are in! Spring Break is the perfect time to chill out with science! Register for The Health Museum Discovery Camp for some amazing experiments, discoveries, and investigations, and to make new friends. Meal plans for lunch are available for purchase, or the camper is permitted to bring their own lunch. All meal plan purchases must be made by Monday, March 3 to be accommodated by our catering service – Wolfgang Puck Catering. Hours: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm Before Care 7:30 am – 9:00 am After Care 3:30 – 5:30 pm The Clinic I. Ages 5-7 Bring your favorite stuffed or mechanical friend to camp and find out what happens when you visit the doctor! In The Clinic, campers and their pals will take a medical history journey and perform simulated tests just like a doctor! Campers will have a blast as they test their skills as M.D.’s – Mini Doctors! Campers will be engaged during a project-packed week full of activities that include constructing casts, and skeleton models, learning about their body systems, and much more! Grossed Out Science For Ages 8-10 Did you know that the record for projectile vomit is 27 feet? Or is the acid in your stomach strong enough to dissolve metal? Learn about these gross facts, make your own snot, and more! This camp is great for kids who display a keen interest in their own body functions! Mini Medical School I. Ages 11-13 Do you enjoy science? Have you ever considered a career in health or medicine? This introductory Mini Medical School I session allows campers to learn lifesaving techniques including first aid and CPR. They will also learn about the anatomy & physiology of the amazing human body, use medical instruments, view real human organs, and experience the hands-on dissections of small animal organs. Mini Med I explores the respiratory system, urinary system, and much more. This is your opportunity to determine if a career in medicine is right for you!
