Bayou City Art Festival will transform Downtown Houston into a lively outdoor gallery and interactive art event with art, entertainment, and more this Spring. Houston’s iconic art festival returns to showcase the works of 250 artists in 19 different categories in Downtown Houston Saturday and Sunday, March 29-30, 2025, from 10 a.m. 6 p.m. Located in Sam Houston Park and along Allen Parkway, guests can personally meet the artists, view original works, and purchase one-of-a-kind art, prints, jewelry, sculptures, functional art and more at all price levels. The crowd at Houston’s largest and oldest art festival will enjoy live entertainment stages, numerous food trucks, a craft beer and wine garden, a VIP Hospitality Lounge, and entertainment. The featured artist is Gwendolyn Redfern, a watercolor painter from Raleigh, NC. In the Active Imagination Zone, Bayou City Art Festival’s nonprofit partners will host art activities for all ages and include an interactive area for all attendees to enjoy. An exhibition of student artwork composed of the top 30 finalists from the Middle School Art Competition will also be featured.
